Dr. Miodrag Mitrić, PhD in Physics, a Principal Research Fellow at the VINS.
He obtained his BSc degree in 1983, MSc degree in 1993, and PhD degree in 1999, all at the Faculty of Physics, University of Belgrade. He has been employed at the “Vinča” Institute since 1986, where he has obtained the Full Research Position in 2000. Research areas: magnetism and crystal structure of rare-earth based materials (sesquioxudes, fluorides, perovskites), cathode materials (lithium and sodium based materials), nano-materials for solar cells (Sb2S3-based), crystallography, crystal structure and phase analysis of polycrystalline material based on XRD and Rietveld method. He was a coordinator of WP in FP6-INCO-Vincent projects (2008-2010), a participant in EUREKA project, three bilateral projects, and six national projects. He has published 303 papers in journals from the SCI list (h-index = 38, number of citations = 4700 excluding self-citations of all authors), Scopus Author ID: 6602097419.
